Wombos (word combos)
A selection of favorites from the world of fashion:
- jeggings (jeans and leggings- the latest shudder-inducing trend that will eventually suck me in)
- mandals (man sandals)
- murse (man purse, European carry-all)
- jorts (jean shorts- I’ve never heard anyone actually say this out loud)
- shants (short pants or long shorts, but for some reason “lorts” never stuck)
- foakleys (faux oakley sunglasses- originated in the mid 90s when every kid in middle school looked forward to the NYC field trip just to buy a pair on canal street)
- shress (sheer dress or shirt/dress- either way, the wearer garners scoffs from female peers and ogling from the male species)
