growing up a musician’s daughter, i’ve become jaded by american idols, next big things and their showy runs and overdone vibratos, but my friend caitlin krisko is the exception.
last night at groove, caitlin performed two show-stopping sets that still have my skin goosebumping (especially her erykah badu number), and if i ask one thing of pbj4lifers, it’s to check out her original music and give it a listen (and if you happen to know any record execs, pass on a good word). kindly step aside janis, fiona and chaka.
