Never thought I’d say this, but that’s me looking unfazed in the back of a burning rowboat in today’s New York Times.
Dia’s next major event features a twice-in-a-lifetime performance by artist Robert Whitman, so to generate some buzz, I devised an old-school-meets-new-school marketing campaign, combining wheat-pasting with QR codes.
The incredible—and stealth—guys behind the Supreme campaigns took to the streets last night and blasted Lower Manhattan with our posters, and now it’s up to you to partake in our contemporary art scavenger hunt!
